Description
Cassia alata has long been used in tropical African herbal practice, particularly in leaf pastes and decoctions for supporting skin comfort. It is traditionally associated with maintaining healthylooking skin in humid climates.
The powder supports clearer skin and is linked with managing fungal-related discomfort. Its activity is attributed to chrysophanic acid and anthraquinones with antimicrobial properties.
Usage ranges from 2–10% in herbal soaps, antifungal creams, masks, and treatment bars. Best suited for skin prone to rashes and fungal discomfort.
